Teaches voice and speech and works as a voice and dialect coach for professional and community productions. Most recently served as dialect coach for Stones in His Pockets at the Sixth Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, CA. Additional teaching experience at American Conservatory Theater, University of San Francisco, Seydways’ Acting Studio, Kaiser’s Educational Theatre Program, and California Shakespeare Festival’s Shakespeare Camp. An associate teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework.
In addition, Cynthia is a professional actor. Most recently appeared as Sheila in TheatreFirst’s production of Joe Egg. Edward Albee directed her in two of his plays, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and she originated the role of ‘C’ in the world premiere of Three Tall Women.
B.A. in Drama from the University of Washington and M.F.A. in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater.
