Thank
you so much for your interest in my current work.
It's
been with great pleasure that I've shifted my focus to the
training of the next generation of theater artists here
at UCI, and I'm delighted with the accomplishments we're
making together. While devoting my time and attention to
my students, I still enjoy engagements with colleagues in
the field. Let me share with you some of the more recent
work I've been doing off campus:
Cornerstone Theater Company
National Advisory Circle: As a long-term supporter
and advisor to Cornerstone Theater Company, I provide
consultation services to leaders at this nationally-recognized
community-based arts organization as it continues to
grow and evolve. In addition, I edited their Community
Collaboration Handbook, a guide to Cornerstone's working
methodology.
Guest artist in residence for the
Cornerstone Institute held in Lost Hills, California:
In this capacity I assisted the Artistic Director,
the Institute Director, and the Education Director,
and addressed issues of artistic collaboration with
Institute students.
Fundraising Support: As the founder
of the Pathfinders program, I continue to nurture and
secure multi-year contributions for this leading American
arts organization.
New Initiatives: These include a production
I proposed to Cornerstone Theater Company, initiating
site visits to establish an opening dialogue with the
proposed community.
Rogue Artists Ensemble
Visual/Dramaturgical
Support: Through collaborations with the ensemble's
artistic director, and company members, I support the
impact of new, experimental work by the group the Los
Angeles Times called "the most buzzed-about new
arrival on the Orange County theater scene."
Professional
Advisement:
Consultancy Services for Arts Professionals
Working with arts leaders to address both individual
and company needs, I provide advisement on issues of
mission, growth, organizational structure, leadership,
and funding strategies, etc.
