Multicultural Spring

Multicultural Spring truly reflects UCIrvine's geographic, demographic and cultural uniqueness. Located in the intensely multicultural bi-county amalgamation of Los Angeles - Orange County, on the Pacific Rim and just ninety minutes from the country's southern border, UCIrvine is ideally positioned for the creation and study of international and multicultural performance.

From April through early June, therefore, UCIrvine's Drama Department invites artists and scholars from varied cultural and national backgrounds to conduct workshops and master classes, to lecture, and to participate in wide-ranging seminars and conferences. Spring is the season to celebrate the blooming of multiculturalism!
