Theatre Guild

The UC Irvine Department of Drama was founded in 1965 as one of the original departments in the University, and in 2005 was declared a “Department of Excellence.” At any given time UCI Drama alumni may be seen on Broadway, in national tours, and on film and television screens.

Theatre Guild was begun as a means to further engage our audiences, and bring together a community of those interested in supporting educational theatre. In recent years, as state support continues to stagnate, our productions rely ever more heavily on support from community donors. In exchange for your generous contributions, we are passionate about enriching your experience of our Department and our offerings, and creating a sense of family between our patrons and our student performers.  We sincerely thank you for your ongoing trust and support.
