Applications for admission to UC Irvine are handled online. Apply at www.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply. Please know that you may apply to one or more of the University of California’s nine campuses using a single online application. The UC Application will open August 1, 2016 for Fall 2017 admission. UC Irvine does not currently accept applications for Winter or Spring quarter admission. Degree Requirements

Information on degree requirements for the Drama (B.A.) major and the Music Theatre (B.F.A.) major can be found in the UCIrvine General Catalogue.

Auditions

Please note that there currently is no audition required for admittance into the Drama (B.A.) major. Acceptance into the university and major is based solely on the UC application.

Auditions are, however, required for admittance into the Music Theatre (B.F.A.) major. Students typically do not audition for this program until after completion of their first year of residence here at UCIrvine.
