Jo McEvoy (she/her) is a current Stage Management Graduate student at UC Irvine with a flair for the funny. Her prior credits include Gloria, Twelfth Night, Cabaret, Men on Boats, Snow in Midsummer, Macbeth, Tilly No-Body: Catastrophes of Love, Yellow Face, and James & the Giant Peach. Alongside stage management, Jo has a strong interest in dramaturgy, playwriting, neo-futurism, and getting lost in the woods. Also found @jowillstagemanagetheuniverse. Ici, la vie est belle! |

DJ Maloney (he/him) is thrilled to be advancing to UCI to earn his masters in Stage Management. Prior credits include General Manager for Acey Deucey Club; San Diego with Fever Productions, Stage Management for Henry V, Into the Woods, Working: the Musical, Importance of Being Earnest at Mira Costa College, and A Raisin in the Sun, Postcard American Town, Love’s Labor’s Lost, and Cabaret at SDSU. DJ earned his BA from SDSU in Theatre with an Emphasis in Stage Management. DJ would like to thank Don and Joel for their guidance and allowing him to be a part of the UCI family. Daniel Rosales (he/him) earned his B.A. in Theatre Arts with a General emphasis from Fresno State, where he built a strong foundation in production while centering his work in stage management. Career highlights include In The Heights, Starmites, Anna in the Tropics, Oedipus El Rey, and Rent. He has extensive experience stage managing a wide range of events, new play development, devised theatre, and touring work in Theatre for Young Audiences. From the heart of California’s Central Valley, Daniel carries with him a deep commitment to amplifying Latine stories and voices in the arts. He dedicates this chapter to his parents, Bernardo y Olga, whose unwavering support ground his work. In his final year at UCI, Daniel is both grateful and elated to be part of this journey, carrying its lessons with him as he looks toward the future. |

Sammie Moore As a recent graduate of UCI's Drama and Education Sciences programs, Sammie is excited to return to the Anteater Family as a 2nd year MFA Stage Manager! Sammie has stage-managed various shows from Shakespearean plays to experimental pieces, and even a national ballet tour. Sammie prides herself on fostering safe and joyous rehearsal spaces. Outside of stage management, Sammie has enjoyed choreographing, assistant directing, and performing in shows. In her free time, you might catch Sammie crocheting, reading, writing, or even babysitting some kiddos! Zot zot zot! |

Maya Lavin (she/her) earned her BFA in Stage and Theatre Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. A proud El Paso native, she draws inspiration from the cultural richness of the borderland in her work as a stage manager and theater educator. Her recent credits include Romeo and Juliet and Bon Appétit with El Paso Opera, Romeo and Juliet with the Madeline Shakespeare Festival, The Importance of Being Earnest, Over the River and Through the Woods, and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. She has also previously worked as a student assistant for the Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawai‘i, as an Education Specialist at Great River Shakespeare Festival, and as an elementary theater teacher, where she directed two versions of Romeo and Juliet as well as two original plays written by her 3rd- and 5th-grade students. She is passionate about theater for young audiences and theater education, with the goal of bringing the magic of live performance to younger generations. She would like to thank her family for their support and is thrilled to join the UCI family! |

Elissa Saldivar earned her B.A in Theatre from California State University San Marcos and is beyond excited to be attending UCI. Previous credits include: Antigone: Presented by the Girls of St.Catherine's, Detroit '67, All My Sons, The Motherf*cker with the Hat, and Gruesome Playground Injuries. She enjoys working in the theatre because it brings people together to tell stories that are important and often reflective of current topics and issues. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her loved ones. She would like to thank her close friends and family for their endless support on her journey! |
