Beth Malone Nominated for Best Actress Tony Award in “Fun Home”

UCI Alumna Beth Malone, who earned an M.F.A. in acting (2000), has been nominated for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical” for her role in “Fun Home.” It is a coming-of-age musical that examines the main characters life as a lesbian growing up in a dysfunctional family. The musical opened on Broadway April 19th.
